Second times a charm!

First let me say I did a lot of research or so I thought. I had several quotes from movers and went with the middle man. General Movers did not come up in my first search. The first company was a nightmare. I paid extra in advance to pack one room. I packed everything else ahead of time. Boy am I glad for that. They weren't movers or packers. They were people this company found on "Craigslist" day laborers. The only person on thier payroll was the driver of the truck. General Movers are movers and packers. This is thier job. They packed up the garage and the left overs the other movers didn't have room for. They underestimated everything. General Movers right on the money. The garage was packed up beautifully. My husband was a happy man. General Movers are a legit company with actual employees that know how to pack a box and a truck. We had zero damage or missing boxes with General Movers. Everyone was pleasant, communicative and punctual. It took two trucks and two dates to move us. We were exhausted if I had only found General Movers first I would've had a much easier transition. Remember those who are the loudest aren't always the best. General Movers was hidden in a sea of others more prominent in the search but they were AWESOME!

Great customer service

Customer service was fantastic from day 1, with follow up calls and non pushy sales. Prices were competitive with the pushy companies, so why wouldn't I go with General Movers! We moved some furniture from my parents house and the movers wrapped everything very thoroughly, were professional and clean, and packed the furniture securely in the truck. A free local 30-day storage period made everything flexible. The final price was higher than quoted, but that was because extra items were added last minute (which they were able to accommodate). I would definitely use General Movers again and highly recommend!

Just wanted to let you know that your guys have shown up. Good thing we double checked everything. Our house took up a whole truck!!!

The guys were very efficient and fast. It was amazing to watch them work!!

If at all possible we would like them to deliver to! Frank and his crew were incredible. Can't thank you enough. I will call when we get to move into the house in Ohio!!
